We have been off on our travels again and this time we were back at The XXII ISPIM Conference – Sustainability in Innovation: Innovation Management Challenges in Hamburg hosted by Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH). To ease us into the next few days of discussions and presentations we were invited to attend the cocktail reception on Sunday at Hamburg & Germania Rowing Club on the Outer Alster Lake, lucky for us the weather decided to be kind so it was an excellent setting to say hello to old faces and make some new acquaintances. Next month we will be heading to Hamburg to participate in the XXII ISPIM Conference on Sustainability in Innovation. The keynote speakers this year will be Magnus Karlsson of Ericsson, Heinrich Arnold of Deutsche Telekom Labs and Martin Curley of Intel Labs Europe who we are looking forward to seeing again. ISPIM really does put together an excellent event with an interesting mix of academics and companies that allows us to learn and exchange information with the top innovators from around the world. The Innabler team arrived in the U.S to find a very wet and windy Boston but that didn’t stop us from going out and exploring the city and of course doing a little shopping to pass the time until Front End of Innovation started! The conference kicked off on Monday afternoon with the Keynote speaker Don Tapscott who is the author of Grown Up Digital which was a great start to the conference and got us all in the mood to hear more about the Collaborative Enterprises’ over the next few days. The Portuguese Agency for Administrative Modernisation announced today that until June 14 the first simplification measures proposed for the program “Simplex do Mar” is open to public consultation. Through the website of the Simplex Programme can be viewed and discussed the 27 proposals suggested for the economic activities connected with the sea (aquaculture renewable energy, for example), a process open to all citizens.
